The Museum of Vancouver is situated in beautiful Kitsilano, directly across Burrard Bridge from downtown Vancouver. It is convenient, yet refreshingly out of the downtown fray. It is also right beside the Space Centre so it’s a handy place to check two things off your list. The Museum has lots of pay parking available and, although the entrance fee is $18 for an adult (click here for more rates), there is a lot to see and it is great value.
Featured exhibits right now are “Vancouver in the Seventies” and “c̓əsnaʔəm, the city before the city”

The Museum of Vancouver also has a number of collections by private collectors that were fascinating to peruse [This exhibit has since come down]
